
My Approach
My counseling practice is centered on putting the needs of my clients first. I entered this field with a genuine desire to help individuals, families, and children navigate mental health challenges and life transitions. At the core of my approach is a strong connection with my clients, supporting them through struggles, and guiding them toward a healthier, more fulfilled life.

I completed my clinical training in the United States, where I had the privilege of working with school-aged children in the Baltimore City school system and treating adults in a private practice setting in inner-city Baltimore. My experience spans working with adults facing trauma, complex anxiety, personality disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and other severe mental health challenges.

In my work, I integrate evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), while also drawing on a multi-disciplinary approach that considers the diverse backgrounds and experiences of each client. I believe in tailoring interventions to best fit the unique needs of those I work with.

During my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work at Johns Hopkins Medical Center, where I was part of a school-based mental health program supporting children from elementary to high school. I learned that establishing rapport and gaining the trust of young people—particularly teens—is crucial to effective therapy. My ability to connect with children and adolescents has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my practice.
In addition to my clinical work, my background in fitness has informed my holistic approach to therapy. I believe that mental health is intertwined with physical wellness, and I support my clients’ overall well-being by addressing their emotional, physical, and environmental needs.

I am deeply committed to advocating for marginalized groups, including the LGBTQ community, and I strive to create a safe, inclusive environment for all clients. My goal is to empower individuals to overcome challenges—whether short-term or long-term—and support them in becoming the best version of themselves.
